CCBA Tournaments and Special Events

At the Labor Day Sectional, the CCBA features its premiere competition for qualified Unit 123 players and a small number of qualified invited guests.  The annual Invitational Pairs is held as a two session qualifying and final with the final being played as a Barometer Pairs. This "invitational" event is open to all Unit players with 1300+ Masterpoints or Unit players who have placed first or second in the overalls of a Unit Regional or Sectional event during the September to September calendar year in advance of the competition.  An eligible players' list will be posted on this website on this page by early August each year. Players must check the list to confirm their eligibility and follow up with a call to either the CCBA or the event co-ordinator to register to play. Registered Pairs have a responsibility to show up at the appointed time ready to play... In the event of an unforeseen happenstance that would prohibit play, said registered pair must notify the event coordinator as early as possible. 

Both members of a partnership must be qualified in order for the pair to eligible to play. 

Trophies, as well as enhanced masterpoints, are awarded to the winners!

This event is always a great success. Try your hand at qualifying and take part in the fun!

On the day of the final, if you do not qualify after the first session, there will be other pair/team events which you may enter .
